In this influential leadership position, you will develop and implement comprehensive marketing and customer care strategies aligned with Crown Paints’ ambitious growth objectives. You will lead and inspire high-performing teams, driving brand preference, customer loyalty, and market-leading innovations.

Your key responsibilities will include:
 

• Developing and implementing strategic plans that enhance brand value, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team, encouraging a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Being responsible for brand positioning, product portfolio management, and ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
• Driving impactful marketing campaigns, leveraging digital channels, social media, and innovative media planning to improve customer engagement and brand preference.
• Using market research and customer insights to guide strategy, product innovation, and customer experience improvements.
• Leading on budget and departmental operational expenditure, ensuring effective prioritisation and phasing, and delivering measurable returns on investment.
• Collaborating with internal teams (sales, R&D, operations) and external partners to ensure alignment and fully optimised marketing initiatives.
• Representing Crown Paints as a key spokesperson, building relationships at industry events and with key collaborators.

What We're Looking For

• Progressive experience in marketing, including in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in brand and product management with a track record of driving highly impactful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Strong leadership capability with executive presence, experienced in leading teams and encouraging high-performance cultures.
• Outstanding critical thinking skills, strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrated capacity to transform insights into practical strategies.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of B2B and B2C markets.
• Ability to effectively handle multi-million-pound budgets and deliver measurable business results.
