Senior Brand Manager - UK & Ireland

Senior Brand Manager (UK & Ireland) - This is where brands become personal

As Senior Brand Manager, you will take a leading role in shaping and delivering brand strategy across a portfolio of brands operating in different channels and market contexts. Reporting to the Head of Brand Management, you will translate long‑term brand and portfolio direction into clear strategies, annual plans and high‑impact brand programmes.

This role carries accountability for how brands perform, how they are positioned, and how they show up in the market. You will set direction, guide priorities and ensure brand activity is aligned, consistent and commercially effective across the UK and Ireland.

You will work closely with teams across Customer Marketing, Digital, Creative, Insights, PR and Commercial, bringing everything together so that our activity is aligned, effective and built around what our audiences actually need.

What this role shapes and delivers – Turning brand ambition into real world impact

This role turns strategy into action at scale. You will lead the development and delivery of brand plans, guide campaign direction and ensure brands are activated effectively across relevant touchpoints.

  • Developing brand plans that turn strategy into clear, practical action across the business
  • Creating campaigns that reflect real people and real moments, while still delivering measurable results
  • Ensuring our brand positioning and messaging is consistent and confident across every touchpoint
  • Working closely with Customer Marketing to deliver strong, stand out execution where it matters most
  • Using data and insight to understand what is working, where we can improve and how we can do things better
  • Influencing product, range and promotional decisions so that they strengthen both brand equity and commercial performance
  • Continuously improving how we plan, deliver and measure our brand activity so that we stay relevant and effective

What sets you up for success here?

You bring the experience, judgement and confidence to lead brands in a complex, multi‑brand environment. You are comfortable making decisions, balancing long‑term brand value with short‑term performance, and working across teams to get things done.

  • 5 Years experience in brand, marketing or category roles, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or home improvement
  • A strong understanding of how to build brands that genuinely connect with people, not just communicate messages
  • Proven ability to lead brand strategy as well as delivery
  • Strong commercial acumen, with evidence of delivering brand-led growth or improved ROI.
  • Confidence using insight and data to shape decisions and improve performance over time
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while keeping a clear sense of direction
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills that help bring ideas to life
  • A collaborative approach that builds trust and helps teams work better together

Why this role matters

When you join our Brand team, you become part of a group of people who care deeply about the work they do and the impact it has. Together, you will help shape brands that people trust to take on projects that transform spaces, support livelihoods, and create places that feel right – whether that’s a first home, a major renovation, or a professional job done well.

The choices you make in this role will be seen and felt. Your thinking will influence what appears on shelves, in trade environments, online, and in the hands of people who rely on our products and expertise. You’ll see ideas move from strategy into reality, helping others feel confident, capable and inspired to paint what’s possible.

You will also be part of a team that values honest thinking, supports each other and focuses on doing things well. There is real opportunity here to influence how we work, improve what we do and make a lasting impact on the brands you are responsible for.
